Sew a Perfect Quarter Inch

The response to the Quilt Along has been amazing! That you all so much for your support. I forgot to mention that I will be releasing videos every other week. As my mother always says ‘God willing, and the creek don’t rise’, the first block will be released on Sunday, March 6th in English. I’ll try to get the Hebrew subtitles up as quickly as possible. That sometimes takes a day or two. I give that to someone else to do. (Trust me, you don’t want me to translate them myself!)

In the spirit of teaching how to quilt, I’ve released a new video on my YouTube channel. This one is about setting up your sewing machine to sew the perfect quarter inch. There are a bunch of ways that you can do it. I personally like using my 1/4″ pressure foot and Diagonal Seam Tape, but that’s me. I hope you enjoy the video!

תפרי רבע אינץ’ מושלם

תגובתכם ל-Quilt Along הייתה מדהימה! תודה רבה לכן על התמיכה. שכחתי לציין שאחת לשבועיים אעלה סרטון. (כמו שאמא שלי תמיד אומרת ‘אם ירצה השם, והנחל לא יתעלה’). הבלוק הראשון ישוחרר באנגלית ביום ראשון, 6 במרץ. אנסה להעלות את הכתוביות בעברית כמה שיותר מהר. זה לפעמים לוקח יום-יומיים. אתן את התפקיד הזה למישהו אחר. (תאמינו לי, אתן לא רוצות שאתרגם אותם בעצמי!)

ברוח לימוד הכנת טלאים, פרסמתי סרטון חדש בערוץ היוטיוב שלי העוסק בהגדרת מכונת התפירה על מנת לתפור את הרבע אינץ’ המושלם. יש הרבה דרכים שאפשר לעשות זאת. אני אישית אוהבת להשתמש ברגל הלחץ שלי בגודל 1/4 אינץ’ וגם בסרט תפירה אלכסוני. אבל זאת אני. אני מקווה שתהנו מהסרטון!
