We are already up to block 5 in the Quilt Along! You can <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/CzPxN1v5AKQ\">check out the video here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love half square triangles (HST). There are so may amazing blocks that you can make with them. They are so versatile! The Balkan Puzzle is the perfect block to demonstrate how to make both 4-at-a-time and 8-at-a time HSTs. This block is also a 12 patch, which can get a bit confusing. I have some tips in the video on how to keep it all straight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To go along with this new video, I&#8217;ve created some <a href=\"https:\/\/quiltisrael.com\/quilting-calculators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quilting calculators<\/a> that will help you get the block size you want, as well as some other things you might want to know, such as how much fabric do you need or how many square inches your quilt is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And last but not least, on Monday, June 20th, the Israel Quilters Association will have their annual meeting at the Arena Mall in Herzliya. It&#8217;s for both members and non-members to enjoy. The cost for entry is 150 shekel for non-members and 100 for members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u201cBehind the songs of Yoram Teharlev\u201d to give us inspiration for our works for the exhibition.
