Do you need a little distraction from Pesach cleaning? No problem. I got you covered! I just posted a new video on my YouTube channel<\/a>. That’s right, the next block for the quilt along is up. This time around we are doing the Monkey Wrench<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love half square triangles! They have to be my favorite block. There is so much that you can do with them. This is an introduction on how to make them. In this video I show how to use the two-at-a-time method. I also cover squaring them up and sewing a nine patch together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t know about other quilters, but most of my quilts incorporate half square triangles in them. Whether they are a sail on a boat, a fin for a fish, or just part of some other, more complex block, these are a foundational block that can be played with to make the most complex looking blocks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best part about them is that they are so easy to make! Check out the video<\/a> and I’ll show you how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
